✨✨BLOGGING FOR BUSINESS SEO

( A.K.A. Stop wasting time blogging without a strategy that gets more eyes on your website ) 👀

Time for a (brief) history lesson

Confession: when I first started blogging I used to get **very worried** that someone would read what I wrote. Foolish, but I bet you relate.

I’ve anticipated where the story is going, sign me up.

Your work could make a massive difference

But unless your ideal clients can find you how on earth are they going to ever work with you?

The internet spiders love fresh content that shows that you know what you’re on about. But perhaps right now your website is just a business card?

I’m not being funny, but just having a website doesn’t get you clients. You have to add content or no one cares.

Image checklist: blogging for on-page SEO

Maybe you’re sick of posting on social media only to battle the algorithms that seem to change on a whim…

Or it feels like even though you’re really good at what you do you’re not getting seen by the clients you’d love to help.

Introducing… BLOGGING FOR BUSINESS SEO

The internet’s a noisy place, but with the right blogging strategies you’ll actually get the right eyes on your website (and repel nightmare clients)

WHY YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT SEO…

  • There’s a myth that your Web Designer or Web Developer should “do” your SEO for you.
  • SEO isn’t a one-off activity. Do you really want to pay someone else to do it for you? Far better to empower yourself by learning some simple tweaks you can make yourself.
  • When your website gets found online it makes you look more credible.
  • It could also make you more money if your business and offers aren’t invisible!
  • Creating content that no one ever stumbles across seems like a huge waste of effort. There are people who are crying out for the services you provide. Learn SEO and get more eyes on your offers.

THIS COURSE IS A *fantastic* FIT FOR YOU IF

  • You’d love not to be relying on word of mouth referrals
  • You want to rank higher for key search terms in your field
  • You want to know how to optimise each post to attract more visitors to your website
  • You’re a coach, therapist or small business owner who’s serious about building your online presence
  • This is absolutely not for you if you want to rank on Page 1 overnight. It’s not a quick fix and you won’t see instant results (you’d genuinely be better off investing in ads, but don’t be surprised if your site’s ranking decreases once you stop paying).
  • You’ll probably want to click away if you’re already ranking amazingly well (seriously, why are you even reading this Sales Page?)

Curious if I’d forgotten about that story I was telling you earlier?

I got a *little* bit braver and got featured in the press.

I wrote some CPD courses for therapists and teachers.

I had a column in a parenting magazine.

I wrote guest blogs to promote a small business I worked for.

I became a web designer and trained as an SEO specialist.

I helped other small business owners to get their ideas out of their head and to grow their businesses through blogging.

I was a guest on the Women in WordPress podcast.

I *accidentally* ranked really well for a search based on a post I read in December 2021 by following what I’ve learned about SEO – remind me to tell you about that!

See what my students are saying…

Let’s be clear, SEO is a verb (i.e. it involves ACTION). It’s not a magic wand, but wouldn’t you agree that writing content that your ideal client is actively searching for is a pretty smart move?

Blogging for Business SEO is unique because

  • I’m a therapist and coach, I’m ALL about connection. Make your blogs about the humans you help, just add in the SEO to keep the search engines happy.
  • It helps you to come up with blog content ideas that will position you as someone who knows their stuff
  • It’s created for small business owners who probably don’t have a team and are *doing all the things*
  • It will remind you to repurpose content that’s just sitting on your hard drive or that’s slipped down the social media feed so that it’s actually working for you
  • I’m assuming you’re not (super) techy and giving you simple tips

FREQUENTLY* ASKED QUESTIONS
(Um, how are we defining “frequent”? These definitely qualify as asked sporadically)

Are you offering personalised feedback?

Yes, in previous rounds I gave detailed personal feedback, often by Loom video, but that’s no longer the case. If you’d like personalised feedback from me or specific advice on SEO for your blog, please email admin@themarieosullivan.com to book an audit.

Is there a Facebook Group?

Yes, if you have questions on the course or want someone to cheer you on there’s a Facebook group with therapists, coaches, a drama teacher, a tour guide, a lovely accountant and a lady who has helped me immensely to understand my dog. There are some videos of me with some very strange hairstyles because a) pandemic b) I’m a bit lazy

Is this course only for WordPress users?

I absolutely love WordPress, but no. There are a couple of lessons that are specific to WordPress, but most of the content is platform agnostic (i.e. it doesn’t matter if you’re using Wix, SquareSpace, a site builder).

SOUNDS GOOD, RIGHT?

Seriously, you’re still reading and you haven’t clicked?

I literally never read Sales pages, I do a quick skim and if it sounds like what I’m looking for I hit the buy button.

Wow I’m impressed with your stamina (sorry I would have made the copy shorter if I’d known that someone was actually going to read this far).

But in the meantime, if you’re ready to join Blogging for Business SEO click the big pink button below.

{In fact you can click any of the buttons, I’m pretty sure I’ve tested them all}.
